Football.

So, in this post, I'll be talking about football. One of my favorite sports, something that I've followed since I lived in PA (ages 0-4) and my Dad watched Notre Dame on our TV.

Now, I still watch football when I get a chance. My teams are Notre Dame (I get that from my Dad and Grandpa) and the Chicago Bears (also from my Grandpa... and the fact that Jay Cutler is a cutie).

Well, my Bears almost had it. We beat the local team (Seahawks) and played the Packers today Unfortunately, we lost.

I think we'll be back next year, I'm proud of them for making it this far.

Well, something I'm pretty mad about... my church is having a worship night on Superbowl Sunday. I was planning on having my boyfriend over so he could meet my dad in a... "relaxed" setting, rather than a formal dinner or something.

Basically, we're blowing them off and he's coming over anyway. I am NOT about to go. I'm sitting in front of the telly with chips and salsa, my dad and boyfriend sitting next to me, rooting for the Packers (Yes, they beat my team, and for that I'm angry. But I HATE the Steelers and Jets.)

That's how it's going to go. God, I'm excited.
What's your deepest, darkest fear? Have you tried to overcome it?

Clowns. Clowns scare the hell out of me. They're so evil and creepy... and what exactly is their point and purpose?! I once saw one driving one of those vans with the painted windows... I've never been the same since.

My school. In case my previous post wasn't clear enough, I HATE MY SCHOOL!!! It scares me so much. Only my two teachers good teachers make it worth it.

Small children. Especially small bratty children.

That I-have-a-big-project-due-tomorrow feeling. Like tonight. $#!%

Seeing blood. I cut my finger Christmas morning and blacked out.

And a more serious one...

Being alone and forgotten. Like, feeling loved for a time and it all being forgotten in the end. That scares me more than anything. I will never get over it, I don't think. Unless I'm with him the rest of my life, that will soothe those fears.

Gah. I'm procrastinating. All nighter ahead. Or maybe I'll just turn it in late. Or both. We'll see.

Writer's Block: Universally speaking

If you could have a conversation with any animal in the world, living or dead (such as a childhood pet), which animal would you choose?

Oh dear, if my pets could talk... now that's a scary thought.

I would most definitely want to have a conversation with Sir Purr, my beloved cat that has been mine for 11 years. Technically, his name is Tiger (That's about as creative as I was when I was 7 (Holy crap, has it been that long??)) but my dad and I, after discovering the Carolina Panthers' mascot had that name, decided to change it. So that's his official name now.

Plus, it makes him sound about as snooty and prissy as he really is.

I love him, but he's so annoying sometimes. Even more than a boyfriend. When we're out of food and we've already told him a hundred times that we don't have food. he whines and whines and won't shutup.

It would be insane to actually sit down over a cuppa tea with him though. He's the only one I fully trust with all my problems, and unlike people, he doesn't talk back and afflict his opinions on me! So I get to talk it out, run it by him, and (usually) make the right decision. I wonder what he would say if he could talk back...

"So then he says 'I'm sorry', but I know he's really not cause if he were he wouldn't have brought it up in the first place, right?!" *cries*
"Shutup, human. You bore me with your troubles."

He's English, by the way. An English Tabby. If he could talk, he'd sound exactly like Alan Rickman. Seriously.

I will post pictures of him eventually, because he's absolutely adorable and I think everyone should see him.

Oh, and a sign of him being annoyed is 'shaking his paw', so if I ever *shake my paw* at you, don't be honored.

Well, it has been a long morning even though it's only 9:35. I am seriously considering dropping out of Movie Lit, because I hate it. All we do is watch movies and write essays about them. Writing is my life, it's one of the things I enjoy more than anything. But I despise essays with a passion and I think I will keel over and die if I need to write 5 more this year. Plus, I don't like anyone in the class. Half of them are extremely shy compared to me, and the other half are horrible people who's guts I hate. Bad times. I'll get a slip later at run it by the mum, hopefully she'll understand my pain.

For now, I'm sitting in the family room at school, just killing another hour. Senioritis has nearly killed me today... and it's only the morning. Yay for long days (right).

Sherlock Relationships

The thought of the relationships in Sherlock has been on my mind for some time. So if Sherlock or relationships bother you, ignore this post.

First off, I have to say- They better not marry off John. Now, I liked Sarah, I think she's a good lady who would be great with him, but if they get married, the whole plotline of those guys living together goes out the window. Much as I like her, I hope they break it off before it gets too serious and John leaves Sherlock for good.

Anderson and Sally can have each other. I don't want to deal with them.

As far as Sherlock... I hope he stays the typical asexual/not interested character we know. Him in a relationship? No. Just... no.

Now, Molly is adorable. I love her, and want her to be truly happy. She just doesn't have the greatest taste in men. I mean, yes, Sherlock is absolutely gorgeous, but was he interested? Nah. Sorry Molly, you're so cute and sweet and lovable, and he's so... not. Then there's Moriarty, or as she knows him, Jim. First off, he flirts with Sherlock. BAD sign, girl! Then, he turns out to be an evil criminal mastermind on top of that. We need to find her a good man.

Then there's the fan favorite, Sherlock and John. As much as I would love this, I can't imagine them having a serious relationship in the show. Yes, I know it's a fangirl sin, but I just can't. Yeah, I want them to be together and in love and all that, but would it actually work? I have a hard time seeing it. Maybe if it was done EXTREMELY well, which the writers could pull off, I'm sure, but I guess we'll just have to see.

And another pairing I like, Sherlock and Lestrade. Now if THAT became canon, it would be a seriously cracked out show. I'd still watch it, but it wouldn't be believable to me. But hey, at least we fans would know that they read our fanfiction!

You know... I would love to see some Molly/Sarah... Going on a slash hunt!

She's got a ticket to ride...

One thing you have to know about me in order to be my friend-- I LOVE the Beatles.

As a kid, my Dad would have the Beatles playing in the CD player and even though I didn't know it, I really loved them.

Then a few years later, when Paul McCartney played was the halftime show during the Superbowl, I realized that I knew all the songs! It was pretty funny, everyone around me talking about the game, and me going "Everybody shut up! I know this song!" It was awesome.

Starting then, I became a huge fan, listening to all my Dad's CDs and learning all the Beatles songs.

Then came along my 13th birthday. Well this was about a month before, but it was an early birthday present.

My Dad took me to see Paul McCartney at the Rose Garden.

It blew my mind. It was by far the biggest concert I had ever been to (and ever would) and the greatest music that had ever been played. It was great, too, because I knew just about every song being played.

Since then, I've become an even bigger fan, and this year for Christmas, my Dad bought me the Beatles Anthology. We've been working on watching all the discs.

There is something about amazing music that will never die, no matter how old it is or how many new bands try to make their own music. I think that if the world is still around in 300 years, people will still listen to them.

Well, for now I'm off to listen to my favorites by them and spam my facebook friends with videos.

Oh! And for the record, my favorite Beatle has always been George.

First Post

Hello everyone. Or no one. Either way.

This is my first post in this account. Mind you, I've created accounts before that have gone nowhere, but this one I'm hoping will be different. I've decided to do something this year, because of the time of year this is. I'm going to try to post once every day of the year, then add up my word count at the end of the year. It's a personal thing, I need to write every day and I need a goal. I'm going to say, 2,000 words a day. This doesn't count, because it's only the first post, and I want to start on the 1st and make it a daily thing all year.

I'm excited, and I'll be back on the 1st!
